Gold medal at the World Sauvignon Competition.

Cantina Rauscedo confirms its place among the international benchmarks for Sauvignon Blanc at the prestigious Concours Mondial du Sauvignon—one of the world’s most authoritative wine competitions, which each year evaluates over 1,000 wines from more than 20 countries through blind tastings conducted by an international panel of experts.

In the latest edition, the Friuli-based winery achieved outstanding results:

  • Gold Medal for Sauvignon Linea Rauscedo
  • Silver Medal for Sauvignon Casa Quaranta

A double recognition made even more significant by the fact that this marks the winery’s fourth Gold Medal at the competition, underscoring a long-standing and consistent commitment to quality.

This achievement rewards the daily dedication of the winery’s growers and winemakers and reaffirms Cantina Rauscedo’s role as the largest wine-producing reality in Friuli Venezia Giulia, consistently delivering wines of international caliber.

“We are very pleased with this recognition,” said President Dr. Antonio Zuliani. “I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to such an important result.” He added that this is the winery’s third major accolade in just a few weeks, following the international recognition of Ribolla Gialla at Vinitaly’s 5StarWines and first prize in the rosé category for Prosecco Rosé at the Filari di Bolle competition.

“These results confirm the growth and enhancement path undertaken by the winery,” concluded General Manager Flavio Geretto. “We are firmly committed to expanding our vineyard quality projects, moving toward an increasingly sustainable approach and internationally recognized excellence—as these awards clearly demonstrate, further reinforcing the strength and consistency of our production.”
