Exclusive Masterclass. The History and Wines of the Rauscedo Brand

An experience dedicated to discovering Friuli’s wine heritage, where every wine told a story and every glass became an opportunity to rediscover the origins, identity and evolution of the vine.

The masterclass “From Vine Cuttings to the Glass: An Exclusive Journey to the Roots of Wine”, led by Gabriele Gorelli, Master of Wine, took guests on an exploration of the Friuli region and its rich grape varietal heritage, combining in-depth knowledge with wine tasting.

Adding a special dimension to the experience was the presence of expert ampelographers, who guided participants through the discovery of the grape varieties featured in the tastings. Each variety was explored from a historical, ampelographic and physiological perspective, tracing the transformations and evolution of the vine over time.

More than just a wine tasting, it was a journey through history, culture and knowledge, offering participants the opportunity to understand what lies behind each grape variety and to appreciate wine as the expression of a heritage shaped by tradition, territory and biodiversity.

To complete the experience, at the end of each tasting session, guests were served a dish from Friuli’s traditional cuisine, creating a harmonious encounter between wine culture and the flavours of the region.
