Cantina Rauscedo Celebrates 75 Years of History, Cooperation, and Innovation

4 August 1951 – 4 August 2026

Seventy-five years of history, growth, and cooperation, with a clear vision for the future. Cantina Rauscedo celebrates a milestone that marks not only an important anniversary but also the beginning of a new phase of development, built on quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Founded in 1951, the cooperative is now one of the leading wine producers in Friuli Venezia Giulia and a prominent player in Italy's wine industry. With more than 300 grower-members and approximately 2,000 hectares of vineyards across the Friulian plain, Cantina Rauscedo is the region's largest producer of white wine grapes and the leading winery in Friuli Venezia Giulia by wine production volume.

Over the past 75 years, the cooperative has grown while remaining true to the values that inspired its foundation: cooperation, a strong connection to the local area, and a commitment to enhancing the work of its members. At the same time, it has embraced the evolution of the wine sector through major investments and a continuous drive for innovation. Key milestones in its development include the expansion of its production capacity, the merger with Cantina di Codroipo in 2013, and the subsequent acquisition of 100% of Cantina RR in Fiume Veneto. These strategic steps have further strengthened Cantina Rauscedo's position within the Italian wine industry.

In recent years, the cooperative has undertaken a significant process of organisational and managerial renewal, supported by investments in production facilities and an increasing commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. This commitment is reflected in the publication of its first Sustainability Report, which will be presented during the 75th anniversary celebrations. The report demonstrates the cooperative's determination to measure and communicate, with increasing transparency, the value it creates for its members, employees, local communities, and the territory in which it operates.

The 75th anniversary is therefore not only an opportunity to celebrate a history shaped by generations of winegrowers and employees, but also a moment to reaffirm the cooperative's forward-looking vision—one that successfully combines tradition, innovation, and responsibility while continuing to create lasting value for the region and for future generations.
