Ribolla Gialla extra dry awarded at Vinitaly
Cantina Rauscedo has received an important accolade: its Ribolla Gialla Extra Dry was awarded in the 5Star Wines competition during Vinitaly, the most prestigious international event dedicated to Italian wine and a key platform for the promotion, innovation, and enhancement of Italy’s winemaking excellence on global markets.
This award confirms the quality of this native Friulian variety and celebrates the daily commitment of the winery’s members. The recognition was presented to President Antonio Zuliani, accompanied by Vice Presidents Fabio D’Andrea and Michele D’Andrea, and General Manager Dr. Flavio Geretto. Also present at the official ceremony was the Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Stefano Zannier, who joined in marking this significant achievement.
The Ribolla Gialla Extra Dry stands out for its bold yet elegant style, an authentic expression of its terroir: a fine and persistent perlage, remarkable freshness on the palate, and intense citrus notes make it a distinctive, high-quality product.
There was also strong interest in Cantina Rauscedo’s stand, which attracted numerous visitors at this year’s edition thanks to several recent developments, including the acquisition of 100% of Cantina RR and the appointment of the new General Manager, Flavio Geretto.
Vinitaly also provided the opportunity to officially present the calendar of events celebrating the winery’s 75th anniversary, founded on August 4, 1951. As announced by General Manager Flavio Geretto, a series of initiatives is scheduled from August 2 to October 10.
Finally, the Verona event served as the ideal stage for launching a reinterpretation of a meditation wine, “Elia,” dedicated to the first President and founding member, Elia Crovato—a product that embodies the cooperative’s tradition, identity, and vision for the future.
